If you're arriving by car from London you can take the M3 corridor until it merges with the M27, where signage for Bournemouth is posted. From the Sussex coast, take the A27 to the M27. Those arriving from the southwest can make use of the A35 to Womborne, where the A31 heads directly to the airport.
